JEE, short for the Joint Entrance Examination, is one of the most prestigious and competitive entrance exams in India for admission into undergraduate engineering programs in top engineering institutions, including the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs). JEE is conducted in two phases:

JEE Main: JEE Main is the first stage of the exam and is conducted twice a year, usually in January and April. It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). JEE Main is the qualifying exam for admission into various engineering colleges across India, including NITs, IIITs, and other government-funded technical institutions.

JEE Advanced: JEE Advanced is the second stage of the exam and is conducted by one of the IITs. Only the top candidates who qualify in JEE Main are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced scores determine admission into the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and a few other top engineering institutions.

The JEE exams test candidates' knowledge and understanding of physics, chemistry, and mathematics. The exams consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) as well as questions that require numerical answers. The difficulty level of the questions is generally considered to be high, and thorough preparation is crucial to perform well in these exams.

The National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli (NIT Tiruchirappalli or NIT Trichy) is a national research deemed university near the city of Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded as Regional Engineering College Tiruchirappalli in 1964 by the governments of India and Tamil Nadu under the affiliation of the University of Madras. The college was granted deemed university status in 2003 with the approval of the University Grants Commission (UGC), the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and the Government of India and renamed the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli.
